ABB bought 67 percent of the company Chargedot NewEnergy Technology from Shanghai. Chargedot employs 185 people and makes charging stations and software platforms to enable vehicles to be charged with electricity. The Chinese car manufacturer and possible future partner of ABB, SAIC, also has stakes in Chargedot.
