Phonak, a high-end hearing aid manufacturer and part of the Swiss Sonova Group, plans to launch more products in China and expand its sales-channel to lower-tier cities. The company sees a lot of potential in the country due to the increasing amount of digital applications and the many innovations in the health and medical sectors. Currently, around 70 million people in China suffer from hearing loss, but only 5 percent own hearing aids.
